This policy covers Kodi YouTube Client, a single-user, self-hosted Kodi installation. There is no public service and there are no other users.
The add-on requests read-only access to the owner's own YouTube account via the YouTube Data API v3 — subscriptions, playlists, liked videos, watch history and basic channel information. No write, upload, delete or modify access is requested.
Data is used solely to display that content in Kodi on the owner's own devices.
OAuth tokens and cached API responses are stored locally in the Kodi userdata directory on the owner's own computer. Nothing is stored on any server operated by this app.
No data is sold, shared or transferred to any third party. There is no advertising, analytics or tracking.
Signing out inside the add-on deletes the stored tokens and local caches. Google-issued access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account “Third-party apps with account access” page.
